The Clinton Church of the Nazarene was started as a Bible Study in the fall of 1966. On July 2, 1967
the first Sunday service was held in the Stanton Grange Hall, where the congregation continued to
meet until moving into the Jutland Grange Hall. The church was organized with twenty-seven members
on August 20, 1967.
A ground breaking service was held on Sunday, April 6, 1969 for the present Church building.
On June 13, 1971, the ground was broken for the now existing paronage. On March 3, 1985, the
congregation burned the mortgage on the church building.
We thank God for this beautiful three acre parcel with Church and parsonage and we are commited
to ministering to our community.
